Building ZooKeeper from Source
How to identify ZooKeeper's startup class and build/start its source code with Ant or Maven.
This is a historical learning note and may contain outdated or incomplete understanding.
1. What Is the Startup Class?
- It can be seen from line 71 of zkServer.sh.
ZOOMAIN="org.apache.zookeeper.server.quorum.QuorumPeerMain"- It can also be seen by using jps -l after startup.

- Clone
git clone <EMAIL>:apache/zookeeper.git- Compile with Ant
ant eclipse2.1.3. Import into IDEA
